Virtual Production is the process of merging real-world actors and sets with a 3D-generated background using LED volumes and Unreal Engine 5. The most popular example of this is Star Wars The Mandalorian. A majority of the backgrounds were designed in Unreal Engine and displayed on an LED volume.
